In a protest against global warming, an environmental group today defaced the dolphin exhibit at the EAAM accredited facility, Acquario di Genova in Italy, in order to capture attention.
All dolphins were quickly moved to another area of their habitat with animal caregivers responding in a timely and efficient manner to ensure both the safety of animals and guests.
The EAAM has the deepest understanding for frustrations about climate change (especially as a scientific witness of its impact on aquatic mammals) and promotes peaceful environmental activism that benefits the natural world that we share.
However we encourage those who wish to make a difference to speak to institutions such as EAAM and its membership, to find areas of collaboration instead of protesting in a way that can disturb or stress animals.
