2024 - Loro Parque

The 52nd Annual Symposium, held in 2024, took place at Loro Parque, Tenerife, from March 12th to 15th. Highlights from these proceedings include research on whistle behavior in bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), the impact of calves on established social groups, and the introduction of the Marine Mammal Research Network (MMRN) as a new platform to foster collaboration between scientists and marine mammal facilities.
